A Hole in One

After Breakfast, we entered the Couples Miniature Golf Tournament on Deck 12 aft. It was very windy. We felt like Tiger Woods playing at the British Open.

We were paired with a nice couple from Virginia, Chet and his wife, Ling. On the very first hole we played, the 4th, I got a hole in one. On the next hole I got a 2. I started thinking, like Staples, this is easy. It wasn’t. Unlike Tiger at the British, I went spiraling downhill after that. Neither Sue nor I played well. But, Chet and Ling played very well and won the tournament by 1 stroke. Actually, there was a hole that I felt I rushed Chet and he missed an easy putt. He said he had a 5 but I felt since it was my fault, I gave him a 3. Because I was scoring. Those 2 strokes were the difference between 1st and 2nd place. Sue and I both got key chains for the hole in one.
